At The Ark nursery in West Yorkshire we look after children aged from four weeks to four years of age. The children are cared for in different rooms according to their age where they progress with increasing confidence and self esteem from the baby room through to pre-school.
The children are offered a fun and stimulating environment in which they can play and develop at their own pace and within their own interests. Each room has access to its own safe and secure outdoor area, ensuring that the children can experience outdoor play and adventure whatever the weather. Fun is not only restricted to the outdoors though.
We have a well equipped library where the children can spend time looking at books and listening to stories. Stimulating and relaxing environments can also be found in our sensory room where the activities regularly change according to the seasons or children’s interests. The sports hall for the out of school club is also available for the nursery children to use, helping to develop and enhance their physical skills and also to just have fun with their friends.
All the activities and excitement make for hungry children! Our meals are cooked on site in our 5 star kitchen where the staff create healthy, varied and delicious meals for the children and staff to enjoy – the dining room is a yummy place to be! All our outstanding staff take part in our in-house training sessions and also regularly attend external training courses ensuring that your children are cared for by people who genuinely love children and are highly motivated and qualified.
