Our Nursery Room children are now ‘Woodland Explorers’!

Every Monday and Friday they put on their wellies and waterproof outfits and head out into the sensory garden to see what they can discover.  We have introduced this activity in readiness for when the Nursery Room children transition to Pre-school, where they have the opportunity to attend Forest School. This learning experience is valuable in teaching children about the world around them, and helps children to recognise the importance of being healthy, staying safe and making a positive contribution. The children love looking for mini beasts, exploring the garden, having a snack outside and of course, jumping in plenty of muddy puddles!! This week they helped their feathered friends by making bird feeders to keep the birds happy on cold days.
